JERUSALEM —Deputy Speaker of Parliament Hon Jacob Oulanyah is leading the Uganda delegation attending the Christian Government Leaders Summit in Jerusalem .
In his opening remarks Mr. Oulanyah said that Uganda and Israel have a strong bond both physical and Spiritual.
“We are here to find our bearings right and serve the Lord better for our countries to prosper” he said.
He added that the two nations are bound together by R.Nile which flows from South to North and waters Israel.
“Those of you who have not been to Uganda, visit and get blessings while those of us who are in Israel now have come to share the blessings and forge a lasting relationship between the two nations”, Oulanyah said.
He said that a lot of Christian research has shown and points that the garden of Eden is found in Uganda because of its beauty.
He invited the leaders to visit Uganda and experience for themselves the pearl of Africa
The Leaders Summit is part of the annual All Nations Convocation
This year the African nations joining other nations are Nigeria, Guinea, Mali, Côté D’ivore, Congo, Ghana, South Africa and Uganda among others.
