Dr. Hilderman real name Hillary Innocent Kiyaga has showered praises to fellow musician and MP Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine for lifting the country’s flag high saying he could be the future.
The People Power’s Bobi Wine was this week named on Time’s 100 Next list.
The singer-cum politician is on the list for spending his career singing about social justice and the recent growing influence in politics.
“Other factors constant, Bobi [Wine] is blessed, favoured and lucky,” Dr. Hilderman who has also set his sights higher, announcing that he will take on trade minister Amelia Kyambadde for Mawokota Constituency Parliamentary seat.
“Haters will never know this but those who have ever tasted favour, luck and blessings know it well and can acount for where these factors can lead you to,” Dr Hilderman said congratulating Bobi Wine for global recognition.
Meanwhile, Bobi Wine who is New York City attended the TIME 100 next event.
He said he was glad to interact and network with fellow honorees from around the world.
He said all those named are ordinary people doing extra ordinary things.
“I was very moved by how so many influential people stand in solidarity with our struggle for human rights and good governance,” he said.
” In fact, many of these people are pursuing the same mission as us, except that they are doing so on different fronts- science, technology, business, innovation, activism, etc”.
“We all agreed that the future belongs to young people and we must work together to empower the next generation of leaders.”
