KAMPALA —It was a moment of joy at the weekend as Pastors Aloysius Bujingo and Wilson Bugembe reconciled during a service in Nansana Municipality, Wakiso District.
Bujingo and Bugembe have not been seeing eye-to-eye for close to a decade as each opposed the other’s methods of preaching the gospel.
But at the weekend, this was put aside thanks to mediation efforts of Pastor Kayiwa Simeon.
Bujingo, who was accompanied by his new wife Suzan, later hugged with Bugembe before the duo was prayed over by the faithful in Nansana.
The two exchanged pleasantries, hugged and got on with unified efforts to help the disabled.
The meeting brings an end to the war of words between the two pastors
In May, Pastor alleged that one of the reasons why Bugingo’s marriage scandal attracted public attention was because the ‘Saba’ Pastor had appointed himself a referee for Born Agains.
“The problem is he made himself a referee of all Born Agains and a self-appointed judge on almost everything. That is why when he got these problems, many people are laughing at him just because he always acted all righteous. I pray that he learns from this that we are all not perfect,” said Bugembe.
He said he would distance himself from Bugingo and promised to speak or comment about him (Bugingo) after 30 years.
