KAMPALA —Police says the Uganda People’s Defense Force (UPDF) officers has shoot dead four men believed to be thugs and arrested one in Mutundwe on Tuesday afternoon.
Police Spokesperson Fred Enanga says a pistol has recovered from them.
“It was a UPDF led operation where the thugs were trailed from Gaba and intercepted at Mutundwe,” Enanga said in WhatsApp text.
No cars are allowed to pass as security take control of the area.
Police is yet to reveal details of the deceased.
