Artistes Catherine Kusasira and Full Figure will never forget Boxing Day 2019 after they denied a chance to perform at different venues.
The duo, who recently declared support for President Museveni was chased off stage by revellers.
Revellers pelted Kusasira with water bottles as got on stage at Kavumba Recreation Grounds in Wakiso District. The moment she got on stage, revellers, some of whom were shouting ‘People Power’ demanded that she gets off stage as other three bottles. She eventually obliged to loud jeers and boos.
Full Figure was scheduled to perform at Nabugabo Sand Beach in Masaka. Before she could reach the stage, angry revellers demanded that she leaves.
She also obliged to the Cheers of the revellers who started shouting People Power slogans.
The duo is paying the price after pledging their allegiance to President Museveni. Kusasira has since been appointed Presidential Adviser on Kampala Affairs. Full Figure was until recently in People Power movement.
