
OTTAWA – Uganda will host the Speakers and Presiding Officers Conference of the Commonwealth (CSPOC) in 2024.
The revelation has been made by Speaker of Parliament Rebecca Kadaga who is attending the ongoing CSPOC in Ottawa, Canada.
Kadaga said that issues of CSPOC meetings; the format of the forums; standing committee rules and venues for future meetings topped Monday’s discussion.

“We agreed that the 2021 CSPOC will be held in Guernsey. The latter is an island in the English Channel, off the Normandy coast,” said Kadaga on her official Facebook page.
Other hosts are; Australia in 2022 and the Standing Committee forum will be in Trindad and Tobago in 2023.
