
MBARARA – The Archdiocese of Mbarara Development Association (AMDA) is in mourning following the sudden death of one of their active members.
Pauline Nitusiima, a member of the AMDA choir, died suddenly on Sunday, February 2, 2020, following a short illness. She is said to have died of hypertension.
“She was unwell and was on treatment but was having difficulty in breathing. It is yesterday (Sunday) that situation worsened and breathed her last yesterday evening,” her friend in the choir said.
There will be requiem Mass today at 2:00 pm at Mulago Chaplaincy and thereafter body be taken to Kitabi in Bushenyi, where she will be laid to rest on Tuesday.
She will be laid to rest in Rurengye just after Kitabi Parish church.
Shortly before her passing, Nitusiima, an old girl of St Cecilia Girls Vocational School in Kitabi, had posted: “Good morning my lovely friends. I request for your prayers I am unwell…I can’t even take 5steps I fall down. Kindly prayers.”
Her sudden death left her colleagues devastated.
“My voice mate, calling me my dota let’s sing then we go eat, tym for happy she would call us the chudureni to be smart.
Little did one know dat the last time she organized a choir ladies out was a farewell to us,” a member-only identified as Jay Tee posted.
“We shall live to miss you always Aunt Pauline,” the member added.
