
KAMPALA – The November, December 2019 Community Polytechnic Certificate and Advanced Craft (UCPC) results will be released on Friday, February 7, 2020, the Uganda Business and Technical Examination Board (UBTEB) has confirmed.
The event will be presided over the by First lady and Education Minister Janet in an event that will be held at President’s Office Conference Hall in Kampala.
“The Minister of Education and Sports Janet Kataaha Museveni will release to the public the above examinations results on Friday 7th February 2020 at 10:00 am at President’s Office Conference Hall,” a short statement on the official Facebook page reads.
UBTEB official will on Wednesday, February 5, 2020, brief Education Minister Mrs. Museveni on the candidates’ performance.
Over 80,306 students from 572 Examination Centres sat for the UCPC examinations, which started on November 15 and ended on December 17, 2019.
At this particular level, students are examined in the following vocational courses that include; agriculture, welding, and fabrication, plumbing, woodwork technology, automotive mechanics, bookkeeping and book storage, fabric and interior design, leatherwork and shoemaking, electrical installation, among others.
The students admitted on any of the courses under Community Polytechnic certificate and Advanced Craft are those that have successfully completed Primary Leaving Examination (PLE) and have attained between division one and four.
Community Polytechnic Certificate is equivalent to the Uganda Certificate of Education Certificate (UCE) awarded by the Uganda National Examination Board (UNEB).
