KYANKWANZI – 34 Uganda National Bureau of Standards (UNBS) staff have on Friday, March 6, 2020, been passed out after a month-long course on leadership at the National Leadership Institute (NALI), Kyankwanzi.
Dr Ben Manyindo, the UNBS Executive Director said “Our participants you are the pioneer group, I don’t think there will be another pioneer group. So we should thank you for this milestone”.
The Director, during his keynote address, expressed his delight towards the Market Surveillance team for successfully completing the month-long leadership course at the leadership Institute.
Manyindo said, “This team is from market surveillance ‘they make sure everything in the marketplace is safe”.
Ensuring things are safe in the marketplace is a very challenging job ‘and with this training, I want to believe they will be better workers”
Dr Manyindo pledged to keep a good working relationship with the administration of NALI by ensuring more of his staff undergo management training.
