
KAMPALA — His Majesty the Ssaabasajja Kabaka of Buganda, Ronald Muwenda Kimera II will speak to his subjects today Saturday, April 11 afternoon.
The Kabaka is expected to address the Kingdom about the occurrences including coronavirus pandemic among other issues pertaining the Kingdom.
The Kabaka address will be carried on all Kingdom broadcasters; CBS FM frequencies and BBS Terefayina among other channels between 1 – 3 p.m
Kabaka’s speech comes days after the Kingdom announced suspension of King’s Birthday celebrations that always happen on April 13.
This year’s celebrations were supposed to take place next week.
The Kingdom this week also donated UGX. 100m to the ongoing efforts against coronavirus.
His brother, Prince David Wasajja, delivered Kabaka’s donation in the form of relief items and medical equipment to Prime Minister Dr. Ruhakana Rugunda, who chairs the coronavirus national taskforce.
