
KIGALI — Rwanda has on Wednesday April 08 confirmed five new cases of the novel coronavirus — bringing the total number of COVID19 infections in the country to 110.
Health authorities in a statement indicated that the new infections include four cases of previously confirmed cases, who were identified through tracing and one frequent traveler.
Rwanda says all new the cases have been Isolated and that tracing of contacts is ongoing.
Heath authorities indicated that all patients are under stable conditions
Health officials say seven patients have already recovered.
