
KAMPALA — The 14th Presidential address on coronavirus update slated for today Monday, May 18 has been move to Tuesday May 19, according a new notice from State House.
Senior Presidential Press Secretary Don Wanyama communicated the changes on Monday afternoon without giving further details.
“The 14th Presidential Address by His Excellency YK Museveni on COVID-19 which was slated for today has been moved to tomorrow, Tuesday 19th, at 8pm,” he said regretting any inconveniences caused.
The much anticipated address also be live on all TV and Radio stations is expected to start at 8 pm on Tuesday.
The address will be preceded with a cabinet meeting happening now Monday to agree on way forward as 14-day lockdown extension comes to an end.
Reports indicate that address will center around the fate of schools, public transport, and curfew measures imposed in the COVID19 fight.
