
KAMPALA — State House has said that the14th President Yoweri Museveni update has been reinstated to earlier date today Monday May 18 after “wide consultation”.
Presidential senior press secretary Don Wanyama said the address that had been moved to Tuesday May 19 is now back on Monday.
He asked the public to disregard the earlier notices saying wide consultations has been made and its has been agreed that the address is held tonight.
“Dear colleagues, after wide consultation, it has been agreed that the Presidential Address on Covid-19 is held tonight (Monday) at 8pm,” he wrote.

The address is preceded with a cabinet meeting which agreed on way forward as 14-day lockdown extension comes to an end.
Reports indicate that address will center around the fate of schools, public transport, and curfew measures imposed in the COVID19 fight.
