KAMPALA – Award winning singer Edrisah Musuuza alias Eddy Kenzo has owned up the audio clip that leaked where he is furiously heard expressing his views about the Kyadondo East legislator and Presidential hopeful Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine.
Kenzo who was holding a live video on his official Facebook page explained that whatever he said in the audio clip was just him being honest although he was talking to a friend about their mutual friend (Bobi Wine).
He explained that the person who leaked the voice note is his great friend with whom he always shares ideas all the time but felt betrayed by him leaking the audio where the two were talking about their friend.
The ‘Tweyagale’ hit maker noted that by the time his close friend called him, he was totally frustrated with the how things were turning out, and in the process, since he is a short-tempered person, lost his cool and said whatever was heard in the audio.
“I was talking about Bobi Wine the musician but not the politician,” he said
He went on to state that whatever he said was in good faith, adding that he doesn’t wish Bobi Wine anything bad at all and castigated those people who are causing war between the two of them by sowing seeds of hatred in their camps.
The calm and collected Kenzo donned in a Muslim attire and holding the holy Quran kept emphasizing how he is also human and how he is prone to making mistakes too.
“I am sure I have made a number of mistakes since I started speaking in this video, I know I am not perfect and I also go wrong here and there. I therefore ask you to engage me and correct me intellectually, I am open and up for it,” he emphasized.
The only Ugandan BET Award winner also noted that his frustrations with Bobi Wine started a while ago as he was not responding to his calls and messages the various times he tried reaching out to him.
Kenzo later took to his Facebook page to thank his fans for taking off the time to listen to him as he ironed out whatever was going on in his own views.
“I take this opportunity to thank those who listened in and watched. This was in response to what had transpired in the media/public and that was my profound view. Please drop your fair view, thanks and bless you all. For God and My Country,” he posted.
