
KAMPALA – The Ministry of Health has confirmed 166 new COVID-19 cases from tests done on Saturday, September 26, 2020.
This brings the total confirmed cases of Ugandans to 7,530.
According to the ministry, 165 are alerts and contacts to previously confimed cases.
“Pader (47), Kampala (34), Koboko (22), Kole(12), Adjumani (16),Wakiso(7), Gulu (9), Kiryandongo (4), Lamwo (3), Yumbe (2), Amolatar (2), Hoima (2), Luwero (2), Masindi (1), Amuru (1), Arua (1),” the ministry said in a statement.
Additionally, one truck driver from Elegu tested positive for coronavirus.
Uganda has also registered 2 COVID-19 deaths from Kampala.
To dated 3,647 have recovered from coronavirus while 73 have died from the same.
