
KAMPALA – The Ministry of Health has confirmed 145 new COVID-19 cases from tests done on October 20, 2020.
According to the ministry statistics, this rises the total confirmed cases of Ugandans to 10,933.
Part of the new cases are 143 alerts and contacts to previously confimed cases.
“Kampala (56), Obongi (24), Moyo (14), Lira (13), Buikwe (10), Iganga (5), Jinja (5), Dokolo (3), Bushenyi (2), Mbale (2), Mukono (2), Arua (1), Buvuma (1), Kisoro (1), Luwero (1), Maracha (1), Ntungamo (1), Soroti (1),” reads part of the statement from MOH.
Additionally, 2 truck drivers from Malaba Point of Entry also tested positive fo COVID-19.
Uganda has recorded one COVID-19 death from Jinja.
The total COVID-19 deaths are now 98 while 7,154 have recovered from the same.
