KAMPALA – The Senior Presidential Adviser for Special Operations, Lt Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba, has warned Robert Kyagulanyi, aka Bobi Wine, against jeopardizing peace, saying he will be defeated.
“I told you my young brother, that you can NEVER intimidate us. We are much stronger than you can ever imagine to be. If you want to fight we will simply defeat you. We want peace! But if you attempt to fight us then Bring it on,” Lt Gen Muhoozi tweeted on Tuesday.
This comes after the National Unity Platform (NUP) presidential aspirant was arrested shortly after nomination and driven to his home in Magere, Kasangati Town Council, Wakiso District.
He was picked and whisked to his home amid tight security following chaos that ensued in an exchange between security operatives and his supporters at Kyambogo.
Bobi Wine was scheduled to launch his manifesto at the NUP headquarters in Kamwokya, Kampala.
Shortly after nomination, he was reminded that mass public rallies remain banned and that all his campaigns will be conducted in accordance with the guidelines issued by the EC and Ministry of Health.
