KAZO — State Minister for Economic Monitoring, Molly Kamukama who is an Independent candidate vying for Kazo woman MP seat claims her opponents have resorted to ‘blackmail’ dossiers and also denied allegations of withdrawing her candidature from the race.
Kamukama, Independent is vying for Kazo woman MP seat with her rival Jennifer Rwaburibate, the NRM party flagbearer.
Document went viral on social media, on Tuesday (November 11, 2020) claiming that she had bowed out of the race to support her rival candidate.
Kamukama’s document reads, that she was approached by the senior leadership of the NRM party both at NRM Secretariat and District who requested her to withdraw from the race and support her rival
However, Kamukama, rubbished the document, saying she is still in the race and is not bothered by the propaganda spread by her opponent’s camp.
Her team claims that her opponents after realizing that the Minister is gaining to much support every day, their retaliation on this, “was to fraud the information that she had withdrawn her candidature in favor of Jennifer Muhesi, the marauder of the flag”.
“Therefore, the camp of Hon Molly [Kamukama] will not use the same trick of lies, but your lies will kill you without the efforts of your contenders,” another document that also went viral on social media.
“What is about to happen, will make u believe that Hon Molly is a mature political player who will score the fiasco team that uses abuses and false accusations after realising that they can’t win the game”.
