
KAMPALA – Marcus Kwikiriza has announced that he is stepping down as Next Radio General Manager, PML Daily has learnt.
Kwikiriza has said he is set to hand over office on Friday, February 19, 2021 after the morning show. This comes amid reports that he could be set to replace Robert Kabushenga who announced his resignation as Vision Group CEO last month.
PML Daily has learnt that Kwikiriza is among those shortlisted for the Vision Group CEO position, though the final candidate has not been announced.
Kwikiriza has previously worked as a radio presenter at Sanyu FM, Radio One and Capital FM. He also had a stint at Radio 10 and Flash FM in Rwanda.
He also worked in Kenya with Radio Classic FM and Nation FM/Easy FM.
He also owns an events management company, Blackstar Events, and is into emceeing.
Kwikiriza went to Kampala Parents for his primary education, Namasagali College for his secondary education and Bangalore University in India for a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication.
