
KAMPLALA – As President Yoweri Museveni prepares to address the nation regarding Coronavirus second wave, the country has confirmed more 700 cases.
The President is expected to address the nation on Saturday evening to guide on the situation.
According to Ministry of Health, most of the cases are from Kampala and Wakiso.

Uganda currently has 45,931 cases with 43,401 recoveries.
Recently, Ministry of health Permanent Secretary Dr Diana Atwine said that the government is highly considering the initiation of another lockdown if the covid-19 second wave is to be contained.
Dr Atwine said they were soon going to engage with the president after thorough consultations with the experts for guidance.
According to her, the second wave is worsening adding that the Intensive Care Units are already full with public hospitals soon running out of space to accommodate patients.
