His impactful work at Shell laid the groundwork for his subsequent role as Managing Director at Tullow Uganda, where he led the company for eight years, driving significant growth and development.

He currently chairs the boards of DFCU Bank, Jubilee Allianz, Diageo East African Breweries Ltd, and Uganda Breweries Ltd, and serves on the advisory board of Veracity Worldwide. Mugerwa’s academic credentials further complement his professional achievements.
