Kainobwisho, Registrar General and CEO of the Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB), has been recognized as the 2024 Outstanding Public Officer of the Year by the KACITA Quality Awards. This prestigious award adds to her impressive list of accolades, solidifying her reputation as a leader in public service, innovation, and corporate governance.
Kainobwisho’s remarkable achievements extend beyond Uganda’s borders, with influential roles in the Africa Regional Intellectual Property Organization (ARIPO) and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). Under her leadership, URSB has undergone significant reforms, including digitization and automation, earning the agency recognition as Government Agency of the Year in 2024.
