C-Care has launched a new state-of-the-art hospital in Mbale, Uganda, aiming to provide world-class medical care to the region.
The hospital introduces 30 admission beds, including a High Dependency Unit (HDU) and two fully-equipped operating theatres.
According to Andrew Mugalu, General Manager of C-Care Hospital, the decision to establish a full hospital in Mbale was both timely and strategic. “For years, the residents of Mbale and surrounding districts have faced challenges in accessing quality healthcare services, particularly for complex and critical conditions,” Mugalu said.
His Royal Highness Omukuka III Jude Mike Mudoma, Azhar Sundhoo, CEO of C-Care Uganda, and Kasozi Asumani, Chairperson LC1, Pesa cell, were among the dignitaries who attended the hospital’s launch.
Azhar Sundhoo, CEO of C-Care Uganda, emphasized that C-Care’s presence in Mbale signifies a new chapter for healthcare in the region. “We understand the frustrations that many people in Mbale have faced when seeking timely medical attention,” Sundhoo said. “Our presence here now signifies a new chapter for healthcare in this region. From offering specialized care to providing life-saving treatments, C-Care Mbale is designed to enhance the health and well-being of this entire community.”
Andrew Mugalu added that C-Care Hospital Mbale aims to bridge the healthcare gap by offering a continuum of care, from emergency treatment to specialized services and follow-up care. “At C-Care, we recognize that healthcare is not just about treating diseases but also about building stronger, healthier communities. As part of its strategy, this branch will actively collaborate with local communities, offering health education programs, job training, and other initiatives that contribute to the overall well-being of the region,” Mugalu said.
C-Care Hospital Mbale is now officially open and ready to serve the Mbale community. “We are here for you, now more than ever. Trust C-Care Hospital Mbale for all your healthcare needs. We’re committed to providing comprehensive care that ensures your well-being today and, in the future,” Mugalu concluded.
