Kampala, Uganda – Victoria University, Uganda’s leading private university, has appointed renowned media personality Junior Dave Kazoora, popularly known as “Uncle JK,” as its new Innovation Hub Director.
Kazoora, a decorated media and marketing expert, brings a wealth of experience and visionary leadership to the institution, which has become a hub for transformative education in Uganda.
According to a university press release, Kazoora will spearhead initiatives aimed at fostering technological advancements, creative solutions, and entrepreneurial ventures at the Innovation Hub.
“JK’s leadership experience in the innovation world is expected to bridge the gap between academia and industry, providing students and innovators with practical skills, mentorship, and opportunities to turn ideas into transformative solutions,” the statement read.
Kazoora, who holds a degree in Business Administration (Marketing) and a Master’s in Television from Salford University, has previously worked with private and public entities, including KFM, Capital FM, and Crown Beverages.
He is also the founder of Buddies Production house, a renowned production company that has worked with top brands such as MTN, UBL, and Airtel.
