
KAMPALA, Uganda — Absa Bank Uganda, in partnership with Visa, has launched three premium card solutions designed to cater to the unique needs of affluent and business customers.
The Visa Infinite, Signature, and Business Credit Cards offer exclusive financial and lifestyle benefits, including luxury airport lounge access, comprehensive travel and medical insurance, and purchase protection.
David Wandera, Interim Managing Director of Absa Bank Uganda, said the new card offerings address the evolving needs of high-value customers who demand seamless financial solutions.
“These new card offerings are designed to address the evolving needs of our high-value customers who travel frequently, conduct business globally, and demand seamless financial solutions,” Wandera said. “Partnering with Visa allows us to expand our personal card range with premium products that attract and retain high-net-worth clients while driving growth across all segments.”

The Visa Infinite Card, a globally recognized ultra-premium debit or credit card, is tailored for high-net-worth individuals seeking exclusive financial and lifestyle benefits. The Signature Card is designed for top-tier customers who value sophistication and premium banking services. The Business Credit Card, a first-to-market offering, is specifically designed to help businesses track and manage expenses efficiently through advanced reporting and spend management solutions.
Albert Byaruhanga, Acting Retail and Business Banking Director at Absa Bank Uganda, emphasized the bank’s commitment to cybersecurity and protecting customer funds.

The new cards are now available, and Absa customers can visit any branch to apply.
