
KAMPALA, Uganda – The Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) has officially released the 2024 Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) results, marking a crucial milestone for students seeking to pursue higher education.
A total of 142,009 candidates sat for the 2024 UACE examinations across 2,634 centers nationwide. To access their results, candidates, schools, and stakeholders can utilize multiple platforms.
Accessing Results
Schools can immediately download results through the UNEB online portal using their assigned credentials. Candidates and parents can check results via SMS by sending a message with the candidate’s full index number to 6600 (e.g., UACE 123456/001). Standard SMS charges apply, and this service is available on MTN and Airtel networks. Results can also be accessed online through the UNEB e-Registration Results Portal.
Hard Copy and Certificate Distribution
While digital access to results is immediate, hard copies will be distributed to schools at a later date. UNEB will provide further communication regarding the availability of these copies. Certificates will be printed after necessary reviews and corrections, and schools will be notified when they are ready for collection.
Submission of Queries and Amendments
Heads of examination centers must review candidates’ results and submit any queries or amendment requests within 21 working days from the date of release. This should be done electronically through the UNEB portal.
