KAMPALA, Uganda – The National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) has announced that it will be shutting off water supply to several areas in Nansana from Tuesday, March 25 to Friday, March 28, 2025.
The shutdown, which will take place from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, is necessary to allow for emergency works at the Nansana booster station.
The affected areas include:
- Kabumbi
- Masitoowa
- Nabweru
- Kibwa
- Kitawuluzi zone
- Ochieng
- Yesu Amala
- Wamala
- Katooke
- Nansana East A
- Nansana West B
- Nansana West 11B
- Kibuloka
- Nakuule
- Surrounding areas
NWSC has advised customers in these areas to store enough water and use it sparingly during the shutdown.
“We regret any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate our customers’ understanding as we work to ensure a reliable water supply,” said NWSC.
