
KAMPALA – Police has on Thursday afternoon announced that the third victim in the shooting which took place on Wednesday at Cheap Hardware in Nansana, Wakiso district has died.
“One of the victims of the unfortunate incident that happened yesterday at Cheap Hardware in Nansana, Wakiso district has died,” announced police in May 30 dated a statement.
According to police Bugembe Amin was rushed to Mulago hospital where he breathed last.
Police says Mr. Bugembe makes the number of the deceased three following Mr. Jimmy Atikuru and Mr. Aruho Frank who died on spot.
“This brings the total number of dead to three. The two victims who died yesterday on spot are Atikuru Jimmy assistant manager and Frank Mutsinda. A,” revealed police in a statement signed by SP Patrick Onyango the Kampala metropolitan police spokesperson.
Police added that three suspects are already in their custody pending investigations.
“We have arrested three suspects to assist us in investigations. We shall not disclose their identities as it may jeopardize our investigations,” said police.

On Wednesday afternoon, unidentified robbers attacked and killed two men on spot and critically injured two at Cheap Hardware in Nansana, Wakiso district.
According to police, the robbers put workers on gunpoint before robbing unspecified amount of money and shooting these people dead.
Police revealed that the attack was conducted by six masked robbers who were riding on unspecified motorcycles.
“They attacked the hardware at the time when the cashiers were about to take money to the bank,” noted police.
