LYANTONDE-Following the gruesome murder of a businessman in Lyantonde district on Monday, August 5, Police has commenced investigations to ascertain circumstances under which a 42-year-old businessman was murdered by a woman he is suspected to have been having a sexual affair with.
Bosco Lutalo, a resident of Kooki Ward C in Lyantonde was found dead lying in a pool of blood on the roadside near his shop; Bosco General Merchandise that is located along Kanya Street in Lyantonde town.
Preliminary investigations by police state that he was stabbed in the back, chest and stomach before he bled to death.
The Lyantonde District Police Commander (DPC), Didas Byaruhanga confirmed the incident saying that police have arrested the woman whose names were not disclosed to help in investigations.
“We managed to arrest the woman whom residents say fought with Lutalo before he was found dead the following morning. She will help us with the information we want as we continue with investigations,” he said.
The deceased’s body was taken to SR Kanaabi Clinic for a post mortem.
