KAMPALA – An unknown hacker has demanded the Nile Breweries Limited classified formula for one of their beers within the next 24 hours shortly after taking over the company’s website, the CEO EastAfrica Magazine www.ceo.co.ug reports.
Should they fail to respond positively, the hacker in a video message posted on the website has threatened to release the said formula to the public.
“This is a message to Nile Breweries. I have gone through your servers and discovered that you have been sitting on a beer formula,” said the hacker, whose face was deliberately blacked out and covered by a hood.
“So here is my demand- produce this beer immediately, or the formula goes public. You have 24 hours,” he added.
The site takeover reportedly happened this morning between 10:00 am and 11:30 am.
