
IBANDA – Police in Ibanda has discovered two human heads, one of a man and the other a woman in Kyegwisa Cell, Bufunda Division, Ibanda Municipality.
The heads were discovered on a farm belonging to Mr. Joram Kahangirwe near Ekyambu Bridge along Ibanda – Kazo road on Tuesday, November 26, morning.
The heads, which police suspect belong to the two torsos discovered Monday in Kikooyo forest reserve, Kacwampare Trading Centre in Kitagwenda District could not be identified by the residents of Kyegwisa cell.
Mr. Jameson Bagyenda the Kyegwisa Cell LCI Chairperson told our reporter that Mr. Kahangirwe reported the incident to his office and later on to the police.
The officer in charge of the Criminal Investigations Department at Ibanda Police Station, Mr. Peter Tindyebwa said the heads were taken to Ruhoko Health Centre IV for post mortem.
Mr. Tindyebwa appealed to the public, especially those who might not know the whereabouts of their relatives to contact police and verify if the heads do not belong to their people.
People from different parts of Ibanda District are flocking Ibanda Health Centre IV to look at the heads.
