KAMPALA – The Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) has confirmed that it will release the 2019 Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) results at the Office the President Auditorium not Office of the Prime Minister (OPM) as reported by a section of the media.
Education Minister Janet Museveni is expected to release the results of the 2019 UCE results on Friday, January 31, 2020.
“The Minister for Education and Sports shall release 2019 UCE results on Friday 31st January 2020, 10 am at the President’s Office auditorium,” the statement reads.
According to a statement, UNEB officials will brief the Ministry of Education about UCE results on Wednesday 29 before releasing them on Friday, Jan. 31.
This will be the fourth time for Education and Sports Minister and First Lady Janet Museveni to release UCE results ever since she was appointed the political head of the ministry in 2016.
The 2019 UCE were sat by a total of 101,131 candidates from 2,205 centers/schools across the country.
