KAMPALA – Lillian Rukundo a student of Mass Communication at Uganda Christian University (UCU) and daughter to a UPDF soldier Maj. Muhwezi Mugyenyi has pleaded guilty to 10 counts of producing a provocative sex video.
She is to be sentenced by Buganda Road court this afternoon for producing a video for purposes of sexually a rousing whowever watched it
Last week Kampala Kampala Metropolitan police spokesperson Luke Owoyesigire, said that Rukundo, during the interrogation, denied circulating the pictures herself.
“She accepted that she took the nudes but her intention was not to share them on social media. She said she sent them to her boyfriend based in US and she does know how they were leaked on one Ashburg Kato, who shared them on his Facebook wall,” Mr Owoyesigyire said.
Rukundo recorded a police statement, claiming that her boyfriend must have leaked her nudes since their relationship has been on the rocks of late.
Meanwhile, Kato, who is said to have shared the nudes on his Facebook page, was also arrested last week at CPS Kampala. Mr Owoyesigyire said they want to understand his motive of sharing the pictures.
Over the years, sex videos of Ugandan celebrities in the nude have been published. Some of them are Judith Heard, Desire Luzinda, Zari, Bad Black, Patience Namara and Bettina Tumuhaise, among others.
