BULENGA – Former Old Kampala Division Police Commander Mohammed Kirumira and another woman believed to be his wife have been shot dead in their car as they returned home in Bulenga, a city suburb, around 9.20pm on Saturday evening.
Kirumira is known for having criticised the police leadership under General Kale Kayihura, accusing them of harbouring criminals. He was earlier this year demoted in rank by the police disciplinary court after he was found guilty of abusing police work ethics.
