
KAMPALA — The political tides are starting to take shape in the country, and most of the candidates have already declared their intentions in various constituencies, municipalities, and districts.
PML Daily’s Abraham Mutalyebwa caught up with Hajjat Faridah Nambi about her plans as she eyes Kampala seat as a woman legislator.
What are your plans for the people of Kampala?
To improve household incomes, skilling youth and women, lobbying for improvement in the roads infrastructure, improve the drainage systems and community clean-ups
Why are you the right person for this Legislative job?
I have done voluntary community services for the education of orphans and vulnerable children in slum ghetto areas in Kampala
Kampala has got lot of challenges, what are you ought to start with?

What have you been doing before to create that vote of confidence?
Working with all groups of people avoiding being partisan.

Independent.
What are some of the major community activities you have been carrying out?
Education of ovcs, skilling, and mentoring women,

She is the founder of Nambi Children Initiative a local non – government organisation that was registered in October 2006, National Children Thanksgiving Gala, Nambi Children’s choir, Nambi Africa Talk show, Union of Muslim women and organization I Uganda.
