I have always heard some people alleging that the opposition commands majority support of the young people in Uganda.
Which parameters do they really use?
At Buyanja Town Council in Rukungiri district, hundreds of these youthful voters on Monday May 28th, 2018 boycotted the widely publicised FDC rally addressed by their own resident Col Kiiza Besigye and instead opted for the NRM side presided over by President Yoweri Museveni. It was just a walkable distance between the two venues.
I can actually conclude that NRM has more young people on its side than any other political group in this country.
The only difference is that majority of our youthful followers are not ‘noisy’, walk with diplomacy and respect the rule of law. As a result they remain an ‘invisible’ but a big force in our favour.
Although the opposition sometimes intimidates these young voters for showing loyalty to NRM, many of them have chosen

to stand all such insults but rally behind a prosperous regime.
