The Confederations Cup tournament kicks off this evening with Russia facing New Zealand at the Krestovsky stadium. The tournament which runs from June 17 to July 2 will be shown on DSTV channel Super Sport 3 and Kwesefree Sports.
The games have kicked off at the Krestovsky stadium in St.Petersburg today with Russia the hosts against the Oceania Nations Cup Champions New Zealand followed by games at the OtkvtytiyeArenain Moscow Kazan Arena in Kazan and Fisht Olympic Stadium in Sochi.
There are only two groups in this tournament. Group A seen as the group of death has hosts Russia , European Champions Portugal and CONCACAF champions Mexico.
Group B includes African Champions Cameroon , Copa America holders Chille, World Champions Germany and AFC Asian Cup Champions Australia.
