FOOTBALL–KCCA and Azam played out an entertaining draw at the StarTimes Stadium Lugogo, as the Tanzanian side continue their 10-day pre-season camp in Uganda.
The first half was drub in the final third as both teams either executed their defensive duties with solid plans or just had little ideas in their attacking sleeves.
KCCA continue to show that they will still be the team to beat next season and probably get their hands on another league title to close in on SC Villa’s record of 16. defender Felbert Obenchan suffered a nasty injury with two minutes to play in the first half after collusion with Azam striker Waziri Junior and didnt return for the second half with Faisal Kiberu replacing him.
With just over 10 minutes to go, KCCA took the lead through Lawrence Bukenya after brilliant piece of skill by Julius Poloto to tee him up for a shot out side the penalty box.
Azam FC scored with the last kick of the game when Masoudi Abdallah sent a free kick stright into the backof the net off the right hand post.
It was an Impressive performance by KCCA center back Peter Magambo making a several interceptions at the back and a couple of useful foward runs.
