With goalkeeper Douglas Kisembo expected to be on his way out of KCCA FC probably on loan the club have already found his replacement in Jamil Maliyamungu a free transfer signing from 2017/18 Big League champions Maroons.
Maliyamungu a former UPDF FC, Water FC and Bugerere player who was one of Maroons’ dependable players in their outstanding campain in the FUFA Big League last season that saw them win the league signed a two-year deal with the reigning AZAM Premier League champions.
He is expected to fill the void left by Kisembo who joins an ever growing list of players leaving the club after midfielder Tom Matsiko (SC Vipers), striker Geofrey Sserunkuma (Zambia), midfielder Ivan Ntege (Botswan) and Brain Majjwega who have already left. Also defender Timothy Awanyi flew out of the country for trails in South Africa.
Maliyamungu joins former Sadolin FC captain Allan Olyek who has already signed for the Kasasiro Boys.
A couple more players are expected to be coming in with a few from the Masaza tournament currently having trails at the club.
