A much changed KCCA side cruised to a comfortable victory over fellow AZAM premier league side Kirinya JSS in a friendly game played at the Star Times Stadium yesterday.
Mike Mutebi made a number of alterations to his team as he started a handful of untested players. Charles Lukwago Habib Kavuma, Ibrahim Saddam Juma and Lawrence Bukenya were the only seasoned suspects that took part.
It took KCCA some time to settle in to the game with their first realistic chance coming in the 30th minute but Saddam Juma blasted his shot off the bar.
KCCA finally took the lead in the 37th minute when striker Abdullah Muhammad finished off a brilliant move involving several passes.
Saddam Juma made it 2-0 from a spot kick with just seconds to the end of the first half after KJSS goal keeper Junior Lutayizibwa brought down Abdullah Muhammed in the penalty area.
Allan Oryiek made sure of the win with a close range rebound after Kiiza Mustapha’s shot was saved by the on rushing Lutayizibwa.
KJSS grabbed a consolation from a spot kick with striker Buraimoh Semiu sending Lukwago the wrong way after foul play by Oryiek in the penalty area.
