FOOTBALL–Ugandan born footballer Kezironi Kizito will feature for Indian Super League outfit Kerala Blasters FC in the 2017-18 season.
The midfielder maestro will join the side after impressing in a two-week trails.
Kizito who joined Kenyan giants AFC Leopards in June 2017 from SC Vipers will buy out the reminder of his two-year contract ahead to link up with his new club.
“He is buying his contract. When he signed for us we included a clause that allows him leave if he gets a better offer elsewhere. AFC Leopards chairman Dan Mule confirmed to Futaa.com.
“He went out for trails in Blaster and the coaches were impressed with his quality and they decided to sign him. We are ironing out some few issues before his leave after triggering his exit clause. Mule added.
Kizito leaves Leopards FC triumphant of the Gotv tournament and at Blasters, the Ugandan will meet former Manchester United stars Wes Brown and Dimitar Berbatov.
Elsewhere, the Kenyan Premier League takes action this weekend with a penultimate round.
Tusker will host Sofapaka at Ruaraka stadium on Saturday in an early kickoff fixture before paving way for Mathare Utd and Muhoroni youth.
In other fixtures Kariobangi Sharks takes on Nzoia Sugar, Nakumatt travels away to Sony Sugar as Zoo hosts Thika united.
