
GULU–A team of 27 football players of 4th Division Football Club has left for Masindi ahead of Chief of Defense Force –CDF Cup first match which begins tomorrow January 12, 2018 in Masindi district.
During the flag off, 4th Infantry Division Commander Brig Emmanuel Kanyesigye urged the team to exhibit maximum discipline if they want to win the trophy.
Brig. Kanyesigye was speaking to the football team from 4th Infantry Division army barrack in Gulu town today (Thursday).
Maj. Telesphor Turyamumanya, the spokesperson of 4th Infantry Division, noted that 4th Infantry Division team will tomorrow meet Masindi Field Artillery team in their first away match in the tournament.
4th Division team is the defending champions for the CDF cup after defeating Entebbe Airforce 6-5 in a penalty shootout during the final of the 10th Edition tournament which took place at Mbale Municipality Stadium last year.
