Going by the Uganda cup draws conducted this afternoon at the FUFA house in Mengo, defending champions KCCA who defeated Paidah Black Angels 2-0 in last year’s final will make the long trip to Hoima to face Big league side Kitara at the Boma Play Grounds.
KCCA have so far eliminated Mbarara City, Simba and Soana whom they oust in the round of 16. For Kitara, their journey has seen them face off with Koboko Raising Stars, Seta United and 10 time champions Express whom they eliminated in the round of 32.

SC Villa have been drawn away to fourth division side KJT and will play the game at their training ground in Nsambya as it is what KJT has used as their home ground throughout the tournament.
To get here, Villa have eliminated Hope Doves (round of 64), Bright Stars (round of 32) and Ndejje University whom the Jogoos defeated 1-0 in the last round.
Villa will have to be worried going into the game as KJT has already eliminated two Azam Uganda Premier league sides in Bul FC and URA FC.
The fourth tier side defeated URA 1-0 at Namboole in the round of 64 and then Bul in the last round 2-1 at Villa Park.
Sandwiched between those two massive results was a 1-0 win over regional side Arua Tigers and KJT who seem to have already punched above their weight will be hungry for more shocks.
The other tie will see Proline travel to Masaka Recreation Ground to take on another Big league side, Synergy.
To get here, Proline has overcome Nkambi Coffee, Luwero United and UPDF whom they defeated on penalties in the round of 16.
For Synergy, they have negotiated past Busula, Bukedi and Azam UPL side Masavu FC.
The last fixture of the quarter finals will see Kansai Plascon host Vipers SC at the Naro Ntawo play grounds.
The Big league side who have eliminated Mbarara City, Dove All Star and Buitaba will be full of confidence as they have lost only one game at home this season.
Their opponents Vipers go into the game trying to retain the cup they last won in 2016.
They (Vipers) have so far eliminated Bronken, Police FC and Kira United.
The dates and time for these fixtures will be communicated in the near future.
