With the current Azam Uganda Premier League season soon coming to its end, the league governing body secretariat over the weekend announced adjustments to several fixtures.

This comes about due to the fact that the National U-20 side, the Hippos will play their first leg of the AFCON U-20 qualifiers on Saturday, 12-05-2018 at home to Cameroon and then travel to Yaoundé for the return fixture seven days later.
The affected games include UPDF vs Soana FC and Maroons at home to Police FC at Bombo and Luzira respectively, which where slatted to be played on this Saturday.
The two games have been brought forward to Friday, 11-05-2017 with the venues remaining the same but kick-off time has been changed to 04:30pm from 04:00pm.
The games between KCCA FC vs Proline and Vipers SC away to Kirinya JSS that where meant to be played on Thursday, 10-05-2018 and Saturday, 12-05-2017 respectively were rescheduled to Tuesday, 08-05-2018.
The two fixtures where rescheduled due to the fact that the trio of Vipers, KCCA and Proline have two or more players each, in the Hippos team.
The other two games that where rescheduled are Proline vs SC Villa and Express at home to Vipers which were to be played on Friday, 18-05-2018 and Saturday, 19-05-2018.
The two matches have now been moved to Tuesday, 22-05-2018 and will both be played at 04:30pm.
Vipers SC lead the Azam Uganda Premier League standings on 58 points, five ahead of second placed Villa with three games remaining.
At the other and of the table, Masavu, Proline and Express still occupy the bottom three slots.
In a similar but unrelated development, Uganda will host the CECAFA Beach Soccer Tournament which kicks of on Saturday, 26-05-2018.

Accordingly, the final league matches (match day 30) have been brought forward from Saturday, 26-05-2018 to Friday, 25-05-2018 but the venue and kick-off time have not been altered.
