FUBA National Basketball League 2018
Friday, 29-06-2018
YMCA Court, Wasndegeya
-KIU Titans vs Ndejje Angels, 6 PM
-Betway Power vs JKL Dolphins, 8 PM
BetWay Power will look to bounce back from last weekend’s defeat to Ndejje Angles when they take on the JKL Dolphins at the YMCA Court on Friday.
The BetWay bank-rolled side lost their first game on Sunday to end their winning start to the league but will view it as a minor setback in their title push.
Opponents JKL Dolphins have not found issues of recent despite missing Ivan Lumanyika who is part of the Silverbacks team in lagos – JKL has won their last three games in a row against KCCA, UCU and Our Savior although none of them matches Power in terms of strength.
Brian Namake has been a strong pillar for the dolphins so far, he has scored 140 points in total this season, only Joseph Wacha (our Saviour, 150) and Landry Ndikumana (City Oilers, 141) have scored more. Namake has also laid 31 assists, a tally bettered by only sharing’s Emma Okumu (330 and Ndejje’s gauthier Badhera (36).
However, Power still look favorites as the side won both ties in the regular season last year – Power beat JKL 77-67 in Juky and 63-70 in October.
In the other tie, KIU Titans will be aiming to temporarily go on top with a victory over giant slayers Ndejje Angels.

Brian Wathum’s Titans have only lost two games this season coming at the hands of leaders Power and Sharing Youth.
However, against Ndejje, the Titans may have to double their efforts if they are to pick maximum points. Ndejje have won their last three games including a 59-58 and 63-52 over title chasing City Oilers and Power respectively.
Like I always say, Titans’ roster on paper, can beat up on anyone in the league but it depends which team shows up on court, as we have seen them score 100 points past UPDF, the same team that only managed 46 points against Sharing Youth.
