With the weekend seeing both the Masaza Cup opener and FUFA Women’s cup final, the FUFA referees’ standing committee has appointed referees for two games
Both matches will be played on Saturday 23rd June 2018 but in different parts of the country.
The FUFA Women’s Cup final between UCU Lady Cardinals and She Corporate will be played at Kabwohe Grounds, Sheema District.
It will be handled by FIFA female officials with Shamirah Nabadda as the center referee.

Olila High School Women Football club won the first edition of the competition last year after defeating Gafford Ladies on penalties in the finals played at the Madibira Primary school playground in Busia district.

The Masaza Cup opener between Gomba and Buwekula will be played in Kabulasoke where the Kabaka of Buganda Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II will grace the occasion as Chief Guest.
The Chairman of Uganda Football Referees Association Ronnie Kalema confirmed the appointments.
Gomba are the reigning champions of the Masaza Cup after defeating Ssingo 1-0 to claim their fourth title at Mandela National Stadium last year.

“The appointments have been made according to Art.18 par.1 of the FUFA Statutes and as required by FIFA, said Kalema.
