BetPWay Power took care of business on Sunday as the ‘BetWay’ powered company brushed aside Our Savior 89-56 in the last kick-off.
Despite missing Stephen Wundi and Philip Ameny to injuries, the table leaders won the game in convincing style, wining all four quarters on the night.
Power who dominated the game from start, led 15-25 after the first quarter minutes before on route to a 31-45 lead at the break.
Joseph Ikong who shot 6-8 on the field led the way with 15 points, Geoffrey Soro and Brian Sivachi scored 11 and 10 in that order.
Wilberforce Mulamba scored a game high 24 points despite being on the losing side.
The victory means that Power have now won 12 of their first 13 games this season with the solitary loss coming at the hands of giant Slayers Ndejje Angles last month.
In the Pembe Warriors vs UPDF game that was played earlier in the day, Ronnie Mutebi’s charges scored a season high 109 points on route to victory over the army side (109-54).
All the 12 Warriors players registered points on the day, with half of them reaching double point figures.
Marc Mathe scored 18, Samad Imran collected a double double of 11 points and 11 rebounds as Syrus Kiviiri, Amisi Saidi, Vinnie Jurua and Mark Opiyo managed 11 points each.
Despite being on the losing team, UPDF’s Bernard Okumu scored a game high 25 points.
