
KAMPALA – The Uganda National Netball team, She Cranes will kick start their 2019 Netball World cup qualification campaign against Namibia on the 14th of next month.
This was confirmed after fixtures for the qualification campaign were drawn over the weekend.
The East African nation which is ranked 7th in the world will then take on Malawi the following day before looking horns with Botswana on the 16th.
Their final two fixtures will be against the hosts Zambia and Zimbabwe on 17th and 18th August respectively.
Uganda is hoping to reach their second ever World Cup tournament after making their maiden appearance Australia 2015 where they finished 8th.
The 2018 Netball World Cup will be hosted in England.
The team is expected to depart for Zambia on 1st August and will have a few friendlies there, before the qualifiers.
20 players have been summoned to start preparations at the start of the month.

The team is currently under going preparations at Mandela National stadium in namboole.
