Alexandria – The KCCA FC contingent of 30 personnel has already arrived in Alexandria-Egypt ahead of their final game at the 2018 CAF Champions League.
The Kasasiro Boys who departed the country at about 4am this morning arrived in Egypt and held a first training session later.
“We are already in Alexandria and thank good everyone is ok and in good shape, said KCCA FC midfielder Saddam Juma after the first training session in Egypt.
“The players have prepared well and in good spirit after winning our last game (Super 8 final) in Kampala.
“We want to at least get the three points tomorrow and bow out with our heads held high.
KCCA defeated Onduparaka 2-0 on Saturday to win the inaugural Pilsner-FUFA Super 8 tournament at Wankulukuku and it is a game that the team used as preparation for tomorrow’s encounter.
The game against Al Ahly will be played with a view of ending the campaign on a high after KCCA was eliminated following the Egyptians’ victory over Esperance just under two weeks ago.
The first meeting between the two sides ended in a 2-0 victory for the Kasasiro Boys, the highlight of the campaign for them.
The KCCA FC contingent in Alexandria consists of 18 players, 7coaches, 2 media personnel and 3 officials.
