LUGOGO – Going top of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League will be high on the agenda when KCCA FC takes on Bright Stars at Lugogo on Tuesday afternoon.
Both sides go into the game locked on seven points each having won two and drawn the other of their first three games.
With leaders Vipers two points ahead of them, a victory for either side will see them gain top for at least 24 hours.
KCCA manager Mike Mutebi has already indicated he will use the same 18 man team that traveled to Arua for the Bright Stars game.
Mutebi expresses his concerns about Tuesday’s opponents during a press briefing on Monday.
“We take on a side that defends well, said Mutebi.
“We shall maintain the routine strategy of offensive approach because they are organized defensively and have enjoyed a wonderful ride so far.
“However, we have enough in our ranks to get a decent result and win.
KCCA will be without Bernard Muwanga, Gift Ali, Julius Poloto and Musa Esenu through injuries.
Bright Stars will look to Captain former KCCA striker, Nelson Ssenkatuka to try and spur them onto a rare victory in Lugogo.
Match Facts:
This will be the 11th top flight meeting between KCCA and Bright Stars.
